The next build (Android 1.0.0 - release 20; iOS 1.0.0 release 21) should be live for both Android and iOS the evening of Friday the 18th. This revision includes the following:
You will be notified when someone responds to a discussion in which you are participating, or when someone follows you. More notification types will be supported in the future. This version includes both passive (in-app) and push notifications.
The activity feed on the home page has been split into two categories: Following and Discovery. The Following feed only includes activity from people you follow, whereas the Discovery feed includes activity from all users in the application. Use the Discovery feed to find new or interesting people to follow, events to attend, etc.
There are lots of tweaks around discussions and comments. Discussions or comments that you author should display instantly now, rather than having to manually pull down to refresh. Also, you can now add multiple attachments at once, rather than being forced to add them individually.
Another small improvement: you can now delete events you previously created.
There are a couple of minor fixes:
You can comment with an attachment directly, without requiring text.
Discussions no longer display a “1” Thumbs up reaction by default.
