Concept - Activities
The platform currently allows users to create events, but that is mostly to provide users with an opportunity to gather.
The platform should allow users to participate in activities, either connected to a group, or individually. In other words, activities do not need to be connected to an Event.
Activities could include HPDE’s, drag strips, autocross events, etc. Activities should support discussions and attachments, like other entities. Activities should also support notes and metadata, so that a user can record relevant data from one activity to another (such as ambient weather conditions, tires pressures, etc).
Perhaps include templates for activities.

I could use some input on this feature. In terms of application navigation, this will replace the current “+” button in the bottom drawer. Right now, I think I want a templated experience for different types of activities. Initially I’d support Drag Strip and Autocross activities.
Autocross:
Date
A general notes section (free text?)
Customizable metadata / name-value pairs, similar to attributes on Builds.
ability to capture details of multiple runs:
user notes: tire pressures, confidence, mistakes, etc.
run number
elapsed time
run time (time of day)
time
attachments (datalogs, videos?)
Optionally - tied to a specific Build
Drag Strip:
Date
list of runs
ET’s
attachments (timeslips)
notes
weather
possibly pull from local weather stations? auto-populated DA, with “corrected” times.
